"It's canning time and the inspectors are in the pantry to see what's new. Calico, Jocomo (the big orange guy), and Scooter (black and white) all have made it their jobs to keep an eye on anything going on in the kitchen.
For the last few seasons I have been trying my hand at preserves. My zucchini relish was a big hit and the salsa I made this year is pretty good, if I do say so myself."
